Clint Barmes: Traded to the Astros

Clint Barmes has shown to be a solid fielding middle infielder. His bat hasn't allowed him to fit a specific offensive role in the major leagues. I think Matt Downs and Jeff Keppinger are better as the starters at second base and shortstop respectively. In reality the Astros need a first baseman.

The Astros gave up Felipe Paulino, who is a solid fourth starter on any team and would be a fifth starter on the Astros. Bud Norris is a good fifth starting pitcher and will fill the hole left by Paulino.
