Miguel Batista: Signed minor league contract with Nationals

Miguel Batista is a bad major league pitcher at this point in his career. He allows too many runs and baserunners to have any positive impact on the Nationals this season. The Nationals should keep him in the minor leagues for the season if they have hopes for success this season. The Nationals do need another starting pitcher, but Batista can't give them what they need. Noah Lowry, Jarrod Washburn, or Jamey Wright would be very good candidates for the Nationals rotation this season.
