Jeff Bennett is not a good relief pitcher and would be best for the Rays to keep him in the minor leagues all season. Bennett gives up too many hits and walks to be effective in the bullpen. The Rays have ten pitchers on the roster who are much better relievers than Bennett. The Rays still need a top starter.
