At the stage in Andruw Jones's career, he is more of a defensive player. He can play the outfield very well, but he's not much of a hitter. He has impressive power if he makes contact, but he looks overmatched more often than not. He doesn't have a high enough on base percentage to provide what the White Sox need. At best he will come off a bench because I feel Mark Kotsay fills Andruw Jones's role better than Jones. The White Sox need a third baseman, left fielder, and right fielder.
