Danny Richar: Signed minor league contract with Marlins
Danny Richar doesn't provide any major league talent to the Marlins. It would be best for him to remain in the minors this season. He doesn't hit well and doesn't have a real defensive position. If Richar makes a significant contribution this season, the Marlins will not have much success. Although Richar can play second base, the Marlins need a player that's better defensively in that same position. Omar Infante or Mark Loretta would be ideal fits for the Marlins.
