Adding Joey Devine makes him the closer because he will be the best reliever on the staff. Jerry Blevins is knocked out of the top six in the bullpen, which means much more depth in the bullpen. Their bullpen is one of the best in baseball. They all throw strikes and don't give up a lot of hits. The Athletics still need a top starter.
