Ryan Speier is a very good major league relief pitcher. The Nationals can keep him in the minors until they need his use as a result of trades or injuries. They already have a top six in their bullpen that's better than Speier and the Nationals now have ten very capable relievers. The Natonals still need three starting pitchers.
