Jack Cust is known for his power, but the most important thing he brings to the table is con base percentage. He hits for a low average, but he finds his way on base by walking a lot. He strikes out a lot, but he can still get on base. He'll give you the homeruns, but his on base percentage is what should stand out more. Oakland should bring in Miguel Tejada to fill shortstop and complete their lineup.
