Ramon Castro does not offer anything the White Sox need. A.J. Pierzynski and Tyler Flowers can do very well behind the plate and at the plate. Ramon Castro was never known for being a good defensive catcher and his hitting has fallen off lately.
The White Sox need some power in their lineup. Russell Branyan would be a good fit to play first base and hit in the middle of the order. The White Sox need a third baseman and the only way they can get what they need is to move Omar Infante or Felipe Lopez to third base.
