Adam LaRoche: Signed one year deal with Diamondbacks

Adam LaRoche provides a lot to a team. He is not an elite hitter, but does have gaps power and will provide a solid on base percentage. He is also a good fielder at first base. The Diamondbacks made a good move signing LaRoche to play everyday and strengthening their overall team. I felt the best option before was Brandon Allen, but he's not ready to provide what LaRoche is capable of doing.
