Troy Glaus: Signed one year deal with Braves

Troy Glaus would be a great choice to play first base and add a power bat in the middle of the lineup if Russell Branyan wasn't still available and would give the Braves more of what they need. I do not see Glaus providing power from an elite power hitter. Branyan isn't an elite hitter by any means, but his strength provides more of what the Braves need. Glaus will be very good there, but there was one better. The Braves should look into Jason Bay to play left field as another power bat.
