Jonathan Van Every: Signed minor league contract with Pirates

The Pirates needed power in their lineup and coming out of the Spring Training, I would expect to see him in the opening day lineup in one of the corner outfield positions. The Pirates had a lot of holes in their lineup coming out of the last season and they are filling them up. The Pirates still need a catcher and a third baseman. Juan Uribe would be a great fit at third base and Robinson Cancel, Bengie Molina, or Paul Phillips would be fine fits behind the plate.
