Brian Bass is another pitcher the Pirates brought in that has no business playing in the major leagues this season. The Pirates need more bullpen pitchers and Bass should not be one of them. The Pirates now have fourteen pitchers that have been brought in on major and minor league contracts that should not get an opportunity at all in the majors.
