Eric Bruntlett: Signed minor league contract with Nationals

Eric Bruntlett doesn't field or hit well, but if he makes contact he is capable of putting the ball in the gaps. The Nationals can use him as a pinch hitter that needs to get into the scoring position, but he is best suited to remain in the minors all year. The Nationals should trade Ryan Zimmerman for multiple pieces to deepen the farm system and sign Geoff Blum, Mark DeRosa, Troy Glaus, Mike Lamb, Melvin Mora, or Juan Uribe to play third base.
