Scott Hairston: Traded to Padres

Scott Hairston is a solid fielding outfielder and a decent hitter. He shows some power which would be good off the bench as a pinch hitter and he could go and play the outfield late in innings. He is a good addition to the roster for depth, but he shouldn't be a starter on the Padres. The Padres need a second baseman and a third baseman. Ron Belliard and Felipe Lopez would be good fit to play second base. Geoff Blum, Mike Lamb, or Melvin Mora would be very good additions to play third base.
