Javier Lopez: Signed one year deal with Pirates

The Pirates could use a left handed reliever in the bullpen, but Javier Lopez might not be the right fit. Left handed relievers are not a necessity, so it is not the end of the world if he doesn't wind up working out the Pirates, but the main concern with Lopez is his increasing baserunner totals over the past few years. A quality relief pitcher cannot allow a lot of baserunners. The Pirates bullpen still has holes remaining and the following list of relievers could be quality arms.
